18 DAY COLT START COURSES

OBJECTIVE: To fast track and advance Parelli Professionals and Level 3 Graduates in the following areas: Horsemanship, Colt Starting, and Foundation Training
STARS: Star ratings for both Foundation Training and Colt Starting are accredited with PNH for Parelli Professionals only.
PREREQUISITES: Official PNH Level 3 Graduate
[If you are not a Parelli Professional please supply at least one recommendation from a Parelli Professional or a Parelli Distributor.]

PRIVATE HORSES: Our goal is to have students experience and learn from our high quality Quarter Horses. Therefore, private horses are not allowed on the ranch during the courses except by special permission. No private horses will be included in any of the course training.

FOUNDATION TRAINING MODULE (10 Week)

In the Foundation Training Module students learn how to teach young horses that have just been started the basics of a natural horsemanship education. Students in this course ride up to 6 horses per day with the goal of advancing these horses to Level 3. The Foundation Training Module includes the Colt Start Course.
DATES: May 9th - July 15th, 2005, or
July 25th - September 30th, 2005
CAPACITY: Limited to 10 students per Module. Please be aware that Modules fill up quickly, so it is advisable to register early to secure your position.
FEES: - One (1) 10 week Module (includes Colt Start Course) - $7,500* [3 Star Colt Starting Parelli Professional only $4500*.]

- Both (2) 10 week Modules (includes Colt Start Courses)- $10,000*

Fees include tuition and lodging. Meals are provided only during the 18-day Colt Start Courses.

* Early Bird Special prices. To qualify for Early Bird Special prices, payment must be received at least one month prior to the course start, after which time the cost is an additional $1000.

COLT START COURSES (18 Day)

In the Colt Start Courses students learn how to work on the ground with unhandled two-year-old horses, with the goal of preparing these horses for their first ride. Each course is 18 days in duration with a two-day rest period.
DATES: May 9th - May 26th, 2005, or
July 25th - August 11th, 2005
CAPACITY: Limited to 15 students per Course (including Foundation Module students). Please be aware that courses fill up quickly, so it is advisable to register early to secure your position.
FEES:
- No Stars: $5000- 2 Star: $3000
- 1 Star: $4000- 3 Star: $2000

[Stars refer to Parelli Colt Starting Only.]

Fees include tuition and meals. Lodging is not provided.
